Meet Rus Klinger
I came to the jewelry business because I wanted to make a change in my life. My entire career has been a progression towards a more meaningful result. I have enjoyed a long career of working closely with people, from being a car stereo specialist in the 80’s to advertising in the 90’s or an insurance broker in the 00’s. I have always made efforts to provide a higher level of service to my customers that goes beyond just a one-time encounter. When I design an engagement ring, I know that we are now connected in some way for the rest of our lives. Jewelry provides me the opportunity to develop relationships that go far beyond a sale. If I do my job correctly, we have a deeper emotional connection that no other profession can compare with.
Born and raised in Northern California, was brought up with a simpler approach to life and work. Small towns, mountains, rivers and wholesome people allowed me to develop an appreciation for working together with others to achieve measured results. One of my first jobs was as the Assistant Curator to an 1850’s era gold mine and stamp mill. I was able to see firsthand how gold was extracted and the processes required to bring it out of the rock. I was hooked. Diamonds and Gold were for me. It took me 20 years of various careers to find the passion of designing jewelry. I found myself managing fine jewelry stores in Memphis, Tn. and North West Florida.
I came to David Adamson Designer Jewelry as a favor for a friend. David and I had worked together for several years and have a mutual understanding of our moral compass and a passion for the business of jewelry. Amber Anderson and I have worked closely together for the past six years and share many of the same values most commonly our desire for a higher level of customer service and, of course our moral compass.
